Pool_game

Hi I am ereading The Black Widow's Guide To Killer Pool: Become The Player To Beat By Jeanette Lee & Adam Scott Gershenson on my ipod in my "man den" portion of the basement. I think Kobo is pretty sweet, the app is excellent and the books are well priced, Kobo has a great selection and diversity of books and they are so easy to download. It would be wicked to have a Kobo reader for comfort, portability and of course the cool factor.

I would be stoked to win a Kobo ereader, thanks for reading!

Nobody in my family has an e reader, I don't even have a laptop or cell phone of any kind! So we read the old-fashioned way. This was taken at the Jack W. Lyle Memorial Park in Menlo Park, CA. It was named after my grandfather who was a police officer. He was killed in the line of duty before I ever had the chance to meet him. It's a great place to read or play...

I discovered the kobo ereader just a few weeks ago and got my kids to hint to my husband that I absolutely "needed" one for my birthday! Needless to say, the hints didn't work and I am still koboless :( Its hard to read on my little phone so this weekend I decided to go to my local Chapters to check out the kobo again.... and ran into a bit of a problem. You see, the kobo is kinda addictive. I started reading Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon and, well, I just couldn't stop! I was at Chapters playing with the kobo on Saturday morning.... then it turned into Saturday afternoon.... then I had to leave to come home for supper. So I went back today! I played with the kobo this morning, and then afternoon came.... and then I noticed that all the employees were looking at me! Turns out that you can't move into a book store when the weather is super hot and you don't have a/c at home.... and that just because the kobo is on display there, you can't stay the whole time that its on display! I can guarantee that the employees at my local Chapters will be happy if I win a kobo, and so will I :)

I read mostly at my desktop, I don't have an e reader so must make do with the desk top or actual books when I buy them. I love to read and if I had a kobo I would take it everywhere I went. I could read on the bus while I am going where ever, I could read at the beach and enjoy the sun. I could even read while waiting for an appointment. I could even just sit outside in my yard and read. The desktop is a little heavy to transport anywhere and unlikely that I would do so even if I could. If I had a kobo it would always go where I go. I live in North Bay Ontario Canada and the winters here are pretty cold so snuggling up and reading is one of the nicest things to do during the cold winters.
